Student hopes to become a behavior analyst

CBS’s television series, Criminal Minds, is a show based on a team of FBI profilers in the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) that solve crimes around the country. Ella Connell-Brewer, a junior at Richmond High School, is interested in pursuing her career to be a behavioral analyst, which is exactly what some of the characters from the show do.
Behavioral analysts profile an individual based on their behavior. According to Connell-Brewer, they are trained to be able to detect a person’s emotion by the way they write and how they feel due to the pressure of their pencil.
