Caveat Emptor
In 1971 Caveat Emptor was open to the public. Caveat Emptor is a second-hand book store that collects older books and CDs. It is filled from the floor to the ceiling with books of all kinds; whether its poetry, children’s, or even languages, this shop has it. In 2016 they decided to sell the place to someone else who will keep the Caveat Emptor’s history alive.
The Pourhouse Cafe
In 2007 members of the Sherwood Christian Church gathered up funds to open up the Pourhouse Cafe, and in 2008 it was opened up. All the tips they collect go to charities or other funds that the mission leader chooses for the month.
