Advanced Reporting
Advanced Reporting participants will gain hands-on experiences in developing story ideas, interviewing, reporting, writing and editing for high school publications, both online and print. Conceptual topics will include how to develop a variety of story forms into a cohesive but varied package. Students in the Advanced Reporting concentration will collaborate with other HSJI Newsroom students to publish projects in the HSJI Newsroom Gallery. Although students must select a concentration (reporting, design, photo/video, or social media) when registering, they will have opportunities to practice multiple forms of journalism.
